Orsolina28 is pleased to welcome Ballet BC for an evening dedicated to dance.
Opening the evening are the students from the Intensive offered by Medhi Walerski, the company's artistic director, to present the choreography they worked on during a week-long intensive study.
The second part of the evening is dedicated to two choreographies from Ballet BC's repertoire.
"Passing," a creation by Johan Inger, is an exploration of human beings, in their uniqueness and within a group, and of the blurred boundary between an individual and the other, us and them. By contrasting individual behavior with the anonymity of the group, Iger questions the future imposed by the fast pace of today's society.
Created by Medhi Walerski, "Silent Tides" is an intimate work between two dancers, a reflection on the relationship with self and other. With the music of Adrien Cronet and Sebastian Bach, Walerski brings on stage concepts like time, eternity, love, death, infinity.
