Orsolina28 arises from the energy of the people backstage, a collective group of women with one goal in mind: to establish O28 as a home for the arts, for one to live, learn and create.
O28 is a dream come true thanks to the many ingredients: curiosity, tenacity, fun, love for discovery, sharing and the desire to open up and make accessible a place whose beauty can not only be privileged for a few. All those ingredients can be spotted in the people who carry on Orsolina28' daily duty.
Founder and Artistic Director
Born in New York, but of Brazilian origin, she trained in the best American schools, including the School of American Ballet and the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre. Her unconditional love for dance is combined with her visionary ability and spirit of sharing.
Orsolina28 was a dream come true: a place to be made accessible for all, where art can express itself at its best.
School Director and Operations Manager
During her professional career, Laura has dedicated herself to media relations and communication, mainly in the fields of design and innovation as a natural consequence of her degree at Politecnico of Turin. Since 2017 she has taken lead in responsibilities of all the activities and directorship of the School at O28.
A devotee of the values of dance, she also trained in dance from a very young age until the beginning of her career.
Always passionate about contemporary dance, she has worked for several years at the Festival Romaeuropa for which she has carried out various missions, as curator of the program for contemporary dance and production manager for the international theater.
Since 2019, she has been a dance advisor for the New Patrons Foundation and she evaluates projects related to the Creative Europe and Horizon2020 Programs as an expert. At Orsolina she is in charge of the artistic coordination.
Head of Production and Residences
She joined the Orsolina28 team in 2019, bringing-in her long experience in the organization of events, performances and festivals, as the Genoa Science Festival, for which she curated the live show area for more than ten years. Always passionate about the work of research and creation, she has collaborated with writers, musicians, scientists and directors.
For Orsolina28 she is in charge for the organization and management of the choreographic residencies, special events and performances.
After graduating in Philosophy she started working in the field of communication and advertising, with the role of account. She joined the Finde Group in 2013, working on the communication for various projects, including the birth of Orsolina28.
Today she nurtures the communication in close collaboration with the team.
Orsolina Art Foundation
She joined Finde Group in 2014 where she’s involved in external relations and she takes part in contemporary art related projects. From 2003 to 2014 she has been Head of International Relations and VIP Programme for Artissima, International Contemporary Art Fair Torino.
Today, Teresa is the President of Orsolina Art Foundation. Her passion for the performing arts as well as her expertise in public relations allow her to collaborate in promoting the Foundation in a synergetic way with the vision and mission of O28.
She has been on board since the birth of Orsolina28 in addition to her experience in finance administration for the Finde Group since 1994. Since its foundation in 2018, she holds the position of Sole Director of Orsolina srl, the company supporting Orsolina28 for the management of hospitality and the organization and management of performance events.
She is the General Secretary of Orsolina Art Foundation.
Jessica is in close contact with the management, teachers and families of the students. She manages all aspects related to the attendance of the courses and the organization of the main activities of the school and is the front desk reference for all our international students.
