Focus on Tai Chi

An Introductory Workshop

August 2 – August 4, 2026

Immerse yourself into the ancient art of Tai Chi

For the first time at Orsolina28, Chinese master Wang Dongmin will lead an intensive three-day workshop introducing participants to Tai Chi, a practice that brings together movement, awareness, and well-being. Through daily sessions set amidst the tranquility of the Monferrato hills, participants will explore the fundamental principles of Tai Chi, developing coordination, stability, presence, and a deeper connection between body and mind.

Born in China as an internal martial art and now practiced around the world, Tai Chi is based on continuous, flowing movement sequences that cultivate postural alignment, conscious breathing and self-awareness. The practice encourages participants to slow down, to develop both grounding and lightness and to refine their sensitivity through the integration of mind and body.

Over the course of three days, participants will gain an understanding of the essential principles of Tai Chi and learn the foundations of a traditional sequence, gradually becoming familiar with the language and methodology of the practice. The workshop will also provide practical tools that can be integrated into daily life, supporting mobility, focus and a more harmonious relationship with one’s body.

The workshop is open to all, with no previous experience required.

Classes will be taught in Chinese, with an Italian translator.
