OUR PROJECTS

Call for Creation

Call for Creation supports artistic projects by emerging choreographers under 35. Created in 2021 as a response to the negative impact of the pandemic on artistic creation, this call supports the creation of the projects of young European artists, who have benefited from a unique residency opportunity here in Orsolina28. For many, Call for Creation was the first opportunity to create and develop work involving multiple artists, with both dancers and composers. The project selected for the 2024 Call for Creation is ”The Party” by Maximilian Revell.

Focus on Creation

Every year, Orsolina28 Art Foundation invites internationally renowned choreographers and dance companies for a residency dedicated to creation and artistic research. The artists, who live onsite for the duration of the residency, sharing time and space, can devote themselves entirely to the creation of a new work, for a period that can last from one week to one month. At the end of each residency, the artists present their work on the Foundation's stage, thus publicly giving back to the community.

Cherry Notes Series

Cherry Notes Series is Orsolina28 Art Foundation's musical review. Guest musicians, creators and singers take advantage of a residency at the Foundation to work on their repertoire, develop new melodies and explore new approaches. At the end of their stay, they offer the public a free performance, hosted in The Eye, our indoor theatre nestled among the cherry trees.

Social commitment

Inclusion and sharing are at the heart of our mission. This is why we are keen to share our spaces and our passion for dance and nature with the most vulnerable and fragile communities, opening our doors to children and families with disabilities, illnesses or who are socially or economically marginalized. Orsolina28 Art Foundation collaborates regularly with Fondazione Paideia, Associazione Asai di Torino and Casa Oz, and often hosts local schools and associations.
