ALESSANDRO CIUSANI - GUITAR RECITAL
G. Cantelli Conservatory of Novara
FROM COUNTERPOINT TO ROMANTIC AESTHETICS
Alessandro Ciusani, a student at the G. Cantelli Conservatory of Novara, brings to the stage a reflection on different compositional styles and eras: "From counterpoint to aesthetic Romantic and modern." The baroque and neo-baroque counterpoint of Domenico Scarlatti, John Dowland and Alexandre Tansman is opposed in this program to the modern and contemporary aesthetics of Darius Milhaud and Italian Stefano Casarini, mediated by the virtuosic-romantic vein of Giulio Regondi.
