Tommy Pascal: Screen Dance

A Workshop on Filming and Editing Dance

May 10 – May 17, 2026

Program Join us at Orsolina28 Art Foundation to work alongside Tommy Pascal learning how to film and edit dance.

I’m often told that filming dance is difficult, but editing it is just as difficult.

Tommy Pascal

During this one-week workshop, participants will learn the technical foundations of filming movement through both theoretical and practical approaches.

This workshop aims to provide fundamental skills in filming and editing, while also supporting each participant in the creation of dance films, using tools and methods developed by Tommy Pascal over several years of collaboration with numerous choreographers.

Pascal will guide each participant in acquiring the tools necessary for editing, focusing on musicality and creating continuity between shots in relation to movement. Once these foundations are acquired, each student will create a short dance film and present it on the final day.

The program is open to dancers or dance students above the age of 18.
