Johan Inger

Intensive 2026

July 19 – July 26, 2026

Learn from masters, create your own path

The program

This six-day Intensive program offers the opportunity to work closely on Johan Inger's personal movement style through material of challenging repertoire, guided by long-term collaborators and stagers Carolina Armenta and Yvan Dubreuil.

Morning ballet classes alternating with improvisation-based awareness classes will prepare body and mind to refer to the natural body and support it to a dynamic, embodied physical practice for a balanced and efficient dance. Parts of the day will also focus on artistic and creative development during research, with brainstorm sessions in the studio with Inger himself.
Rigorous and versatile, this Intensive is a place where you'll meet concentration, precision, discovery, commitment and fun.
