The concert “The Harp in All of Its Forms” is a sharing of the work developed during the workshop “The Harp: The Shape of Sound”, which has brought together students from all over Italy for a program dedicated to discovering and exploring this instrument under the guidance of artists Valerio Lisci and Magdalena Hoffmann.
Through the evening, the harp will reveal its many facets thanks to a program spanning different periods and musical languages, from Baroque to Romanticism and into the XX Century. Through original pieces and transcriptions, the audience is guided on a musical journey that connects distant musical traditions with modern and contemporary sounds.
The result is a final sharing that reflects the work developed during the week, listening, research and dialogue between performers at its core.
In line with our values of inclusion and accessibility, all of our presentations are open to the community at no cost (reservations are required and all donations are welcomed).
