Organi
(Last movement of hope \ II chapter)
“Perhaps you are an organ that inhabits my body because I feel you so strongly inside me.”
Adriano Bolognino comes to Orsolina28 Art Foundation to devote himself to the creation of “Organi” (Organs), the second chapter of the macro project “Last Movement of Hope.”
“Last Movement of Hope” stems from the desire to explore and recount the human experience through dance, in all of its facets: our relationships with ourselves and with others, our fears, our struggles and, above all, the hope that drives us forward. Bolognino imagined this work as a book, a collection of different stories: each chapter represents a moment of creative research, an emotion, an encounter, or a reflection, and can exist independently or in relation to the others, like a journey that embraces the past, present, and future, in a continuous search for answers and meaning.
With “Organi,” the Neapolitan choreographer seeks to explore the intimacy of the human body, its fragility and strength, symbolized by the organs that inhabit and define us, yet often elude us.
The project “Last Movement of Hope” was awarded at Modafe Korea 2025 and the chapter “Organi” was created with the support of the program “Movin'Up Spettacolo - Performing Arts 2024/2025.”
