Humanity: Seeing Through His Eyes, Standing In Her Shoes
During a one-week residency in Orsolina28, Irish cellist, singer-songwriter and composer Naomi Berrill has worked on her latest musical project, “Humanity: Seeing Through His Eyes, Standing In Her Shoes”.
In a historical moment marked by environmental and political crises, and by an increasingly pervasive artificial intelligence, Humanity invites us to rediscover what makes us truly human: emotional intelligence, creativity, vulnerability, and the capacity to love.
Through a musical language that weaves together folk, improvisation, and electronic sound, the trio led by Berrill offers a sonic journey celebrating deep human connection, an invitation to listen attentively, to see through different eyes, and to stand in another’s shoes.
