Call for
Creation '22

Call for Creation, the residency project for young choreographers promoted by Orsolina Art Foundation, returned in its second edition to continue to give voice to emerging talents. The Call for Creation initiative was born from the desire to contribute to the recovery of dance due to the crisis the Covid-19 pandemic has produced in the performing arts.

A heartfelt thank you to all who applied to our Call for Creation 2022.

We received a considerable number of applications this year, which confirms the need to continue supporting young emerging artists. We are inspired by your talent and vision.

After carefully reviewing each proposal, the artistic team has decided to award residencies not only to one, but to three selected projects once again this year. Orsolina28 is proud to support and give voice to their talent.

We are pleased to announce the nominated projects:

"Looking for Totoro," Danae & Dionysios (Greece)

"Ordinary," Marco di Nardo & Juan Tirado, Frantics Dance Company (Germany)

"Corrupt(ed)," Madison Hicks (USA)
