The Other "Me" of My Mind

NED Company

The hands of the 'clock were turning and scanning each second, scanning it along with the drop that kept falling on the ceramic sink with an unbearably perfect cadence, and seemed to make the silence even more mute--silence is an unbearable thing. In the asylum they had accustomed us to silence. There they would put us in the morning lined up on top of the benches, with our hands in our laps, and with orders to "not a word."
Someone who, thanks to insanity, filled the air and the wind with her screams was welcomed by us as something new,
something finally alive.

The NED Company is an project from Puglia that was created through a group of young people who, pursuing their own aspirations, share a great passion for dance. The company debuted in 2021 with its first show titled "Story of a Book Thief" and followed in 2022 with "The Other Me of My Mind."
Artistic direction and choreography are by Maestro Nico Benedetti.
