"Back forward back"
with Marie-Agnès Gillot and Drew Jacoby

“Back forward back” is based on one of Albert Einstein´s theories about travelling through time saying that one way to achieve time travel into the future would be travelling at the speed of light in space, theoretically you could travel near the speed of light through the universe in your spaceship to slow down time.

Juliano’s wondering was about the opposite: what if we could go back in time? Would it be helpful? Would it make worse? Would it maybe erase some of your most important memories and people in your life? We should leave the past behind and keep moving forward and keep looking up for a better future but WHAT IF…

That doubt, what if you could have the chance to travel back in time brings up so many questions, desires and so many different possibilities to make things “better or worse” into a new present. The piece is based on travelling back in space rewinding and initiating a new beginning from something that has already happened which will naturally change the feeling or maybe not. Because the question is, if you could go back in time would you make it different or would you make the same decision over again?
