This morning program begins with "Summer Sounds" a chamber ensemble featuring two siblings from the G. F. Ghedini Conservatory of Cuneo. The musical proposal is the result of a focused study and research work involving different composers, to highlight the talent of the two young artists.
For the second part, two young artists from the A. Vivaldi Conservatory of Alessandria offer an immersion in opera singing, which joined the list of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage last December. In a theatrical duel of musical notes, the voices of the two sopranos compete in their different textures, with brilliant high notes, funambulist speed and agility and a warm and powerful timbre. The set list, which ranges from the works of Mozart to the more modern Bernstein, allows us to appreciate the evolution of this art through the centuries.
The Conservatories in Piedmont project is an initiative of the Cultural Association Toret Artist Three Six Zero: its mission is to build a network of musical activities that supports and encourages young musicians to express their talent in public, supporting them in the transition from school to their professional life.
