THE SOPRANO'S VOICE
A. Vivaldii Conservatory of Alessandria
COLORATURA VS. LYRIC
The Ensemble of the Conservatorio A. Vivaldi di Alessandria offers a captivating theatrical duel of musical notes from the Conservatorio A. Vivaldi di Alessandria: the voices of the Soprano, primadonna in the operatic pera, compete in their different textures each using their own tools of vocal seduction: brilliant high notes, funambulistic speed and agility the coloratura soprano and sinuous legato phrasing, warm and powerful timbre the lyric soprano: they are two but not two, it is one and the same chord vibrating only differently on the air of our breath.... UNESCO on Dec. 6, 2023 named the practice of Italian opera singing an Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
