Cherry Notes
Music under the cherry trees, Brunch at km0.

In collaboration with Unione Musicale. Artistic direction: Antonio Valentino

Among all art forms, music has the closest relationship with nature. Music is impalpable matter made of frequencies and timbres, of sound waves that disseminate in the air. Nature, on the other hand, has always been a source of inspiration for artists and composers.
It is an irresistible call, therefore, to listen to classical music performed live on a lawn beneath the shade of cherry trees, surrounded by a breathtaking landscape.
Eight concerts, unique listening experiences with great variety, in the splendid setting of Orsolina28.

The Pentafiati Quintet was born in 2012 from the spontaneous friendship and collaboration of five students of the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Turin. In the following years, the members of the quintet carry out individual studies abroad in renowned Swiss, French and Portuguese conservatories. The commitment and dedication of the five musicians allow the group to establish itself on the international circuit: decisive were the lessons with the masters of the renowned Italian Quintet, including Andrea Oliva, first flute at the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. Currently the ensemble is perfecting under the guidance of Giampaolo Pretto, first flute of the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai, as well as a member of the historic Quintetto Bibiena. Its vast repertoire, together with the search for new ways to approach the public, makes this formation extremely ductile. The Pentafiati have won prizes in several national and international chamber music competitions: third prize at the Concorso Città di Chieri, first prize at the Concorso Città di Stresa, Ars Ventus prize at the Bucharest International Chamber Music Competition.
