Two presentations in one evening, featuring works that explore the relationship between the body, identity, and collective memory.
"Paradise", by Matan Cohen, is a duet that reinterprets iconic melodies from The Sound of Music movie through the lens of war, grief, and nationalism. The watermelon, a symbol of territorial conflict, transforms the stage into a space of resistance and contemplation.
"I Put an Eye On You", by Iyar Elezra, investigates the tension between order and chaos through a surreal set of scattered folders and binders. Three figures navigate this fragmented world, caught between compulsive repetition, a search for connection, and moments of ironic playfulness.
