“Miles Davis & Beyond” was born from the desire to highlight and honour the great influence that Miles Davis has had in the world of music and jazz. A trumpeter and composer, Davis has always tried to push the boundaries of music beyond the traditional ones, mixing apparently distant genres.
His innovative spirit is the leitmotif of this evening, in which the Stablemates Quartet pays tribute to Davis's work through a reinterpretation of his repertoire with original arrangements and compositions.
