Medhi Walerski - Student Sharing | (in)Edith | Liberated Joy
Intensive & Focus on Creation
© Sasha Onyshchenko
Orsolina28 presents an evening dedicated to dance, creation and training.
The performance begins with a presentation of the students who participated in the training residency with choreographer Medhi Walerski.
It then continues with two creations, one by choreographer Ermanno Sbezzo and the other by Ingrid Silva. The first, "(in)Edith" by Ermanno Sbezzo, is about the French singer-songwriter Edith Piaf, bringing out her voice through an abstract and imaginative tale in which the movement of the dancers is used in a modern key. The second, "Liberated Joy", choreographed by Ingrid Silva will be a dynamic fusion of ballet and live music, bringing a unique cultural and emotional depth to the stage. The piece will be performed by the Blacks in Ballet Collective, with the live musician providing a powerful and rhythmic accompaniment.
