"Humanity: Seeing Through His Eyes, Standing In Her Shoes" is a new musical concept by Irish cellist, singer, songwriter and composer Naomi Berrill: a song cycle exploring human emotions and inviting listeners to experience the world from another’s perspective.
In an age marked by political tension, environmental uncertainty, and the rise of artificial intelligence, Humanity shifts our focus inward—to the essence of what makes us human. Through an intimate blend of folk influences, acoustic textures and evocative electronic sounds, Berrill and her trio explore themes such as emotional intelligence, vulnerability, and the irreplaceable value of human connection.
A deeply poetic invitation to listen, see through other eyes and stand in someone else’s shoes.
