GagaEden at Orsolina28

Join us for an unforgettable journey into Gaga, Ohad Naharin's movement language, in an Italian dance haven. For two decades, Naharin - house choreographer of Israel's Batsheva Dance Company - has offered Gaga to people of all ages and movement backgrounds. Gaga exercises our agility, flexibility, stamina, strength, and coordination in a workout full of groove and pleasure.

For the first time ever, GagaEden welcomes you to dance, dine, and sleep in Orsolina28's lush surroundings.

Pairing Gaga and methodics classes with the sights, smells, and tastes of Orsolina28, GagaEden will awaken all of your sensations. Your 3-night stay will connect you to your joy and passion to move, with a sense of plenty of time.

No dance background or Gaga experience is necessary to participate in GagaEden.

The program is open to people age 18+.

GagaEden at Orsolina28 is a uniquely immersive experience, with all participants sleeping and dining on-site.

What’s Included:

• 3 nights accommodation in shared glamping facilities
• Fresh meals with seasonal, locally grown ingredients

• Conversations with teachers and other activities
• Free time for biking, exploring the area, and relaxing
• Transfers between Orsolina28 and the Asti train station at scheduled times

-> Tuition is payable on Gaga's website and is 3500 ILS (early bird, through March 31) or 3800 ILS (from April 1-30)

HOUSING

Leave behind the city, and dance, eat, sleep, and relax in a scenic natural environment.

Orsolina28 provides shared housing in Glamping, comfortable, and technological geodesic domes located on campus just a 5-minute stroll from the studios.

• Geodesic domes made of thermal insulation material and placed on wooden platforms. Modern-design bathroom units within walking distance from the domes. Simple and practical furnishing, with standard beds on wooden platforms
• Capacity: Due to COVID restrictions, larger 6-person domes will be reduced to 4 people (dome’s diameter 6.3 m / height 3.75 m) and 4-person domes will be reduced to 2 people (dome’s diameter 5.1 m / height 3.35 m). Additional domes are designed for 2 people.
• Heating and A/C system available in each tent

COVID-19 POLICY

Orsolina28 observes the laws and regulations of Italy and of the Piedmont Region with regards to COVID-19 safety.
Participants must familiarize themselves with Italy’s regulations regarding travel and testing. By registering for the workshop, participants commit to respecting all COVID-19 policies and regulations.
Without prejudice to any stricter requirement by Italian authorities, all participants must show proof of fully vaccinated certification against COVID-19 prior to arrival at Orsolina28; the vaccination must be up-to-date, still effective, and have been completed with a vaccine approved by Italian authorities. In addition, a negative COVID test will be required prior to arrival; details about the type of test and required time frame will be communicated closer to the workshop. It is expressly understood that the participant’s failure to complete the vaccination cycle and/or procure the negative results of a COVID test prior to arrival at Orsolina28 will entitle Gaga and Orsolina28 to withdraw the participant from registration.
Participants may receive further updates regarding policies and must adhere fully to these guidelines in order to participate.
