Mario Alberto Zambrano
Read moreMario Alberto Zambrano is currently the Associate Director of Dance at The Juilliard School. During his dance career, he worked with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Nederlands Dans Theater 2, Batsheva Dance Company, and was a guest artist with Ballett Frankfurt over the course of five years. He is the recipient of an NEA Fellowship in Literature, a Princess Grace Award in Dance, and was a Presidential Scholar in the Arts in 1994. Also a novelist, his debut novel Lotería was published in 2013 by HarperCollins and reprinted in five different countries. In 2020, he was awarded the Alice Hoffman Prize for Fiction for his short story Some of you.
