Sol León and Paul Lightfoot, in residency at Orsolina28 in the context of Focus on Creation, reveal their last work in the very moment of its creation. An unmissable occasion to share a “performance in progress” by the outstanding choreographers who, in the last 30 years, have created over sixty works for the Nederlands Dans Theater and won numerous prestigious awards including the Benois de la Danse and the Herald Archangel.
The concept of the work is to embody the celebration of reassembling a group of artists who were used to being together, yet who have now been apart for over a year.
Sol León e Paul Lightfoot reunite some of their past dancers to find the inspiration to emphasize the spontaneity of this “unknown” moment, embracing the unconsciousness of what we have all been feeling in this extremely strange year.
As with all their creative processes, they give into the instant to discover what is awaiting them from within, inspired by the concept that the art will be there intertwined to this reunion with these exceptional and eclectic artists.
Spontaneity is the frame, and the disunity of this time the motor of the creativity, as the forces are reunited to heal the breach.
Performance starts 7.30 pm
