We Are Doing Great

Jul 29, 2024 – Aug 3, 2024
We Are Doing Great

Rioche's creative process begins with introspection, translating personal experiences into poetic interpretations of universal emotions, mixing realism and surrealism. In the case of "We Are Doing Great," the French choreographer focuses on the moment before the end of a relationship, when both parties hesitate to take the first step and leave.

In close collaboration with artist and dancer Émilie Leriche, Rioche uses dance to explore this single punto nel tempo, when love and hate are intertwined and fear and anticipation prevent one from moving.
