IDEA Academy International Workshop for Young Composers and Orchestra Conduction Course on repertoire for ensemble from the early Twentieth Century to Present
In Summer 2021, Orsolina28 Art Foundation, confirming its mission to engage all art forms, partnered with IDEA – International Divertimento Ensemble Academy – and hosted in its spaces two international workshops dedicated to young composers and conductors. Under the guidance of Maestro Sandro Gorli, these young talents transformed Orsolina28 into a training center of excellence for contemporary classical music.
The workshops were joined by a concert activity open to the public, in which the students performed on stage together with the musicians of Divertimento Ensemble in an original and unique performance space: the Eye, the new multipurpose hall of Orsolina28.
Divertimento Ensemble is the only Italian member of Ulysses Network, the European network of contemporary music, whose activities are supported by the European Community. This distinction is a tangible recognition of the quality of the project, which Orsolina28 Art Foundation intends to continue to support with passion.
